Brideshead Revisited

Brideshead Revisited

1944 when the book was finished. I wrote with a zest that was quite strange to me and also with impatience to get back to the war. Wilkie Collins epistolary novel The Moonstone 1868, is generally considered the first detective novel in the English language. The Woman in White is regarded as one of the finest sensation novels.
